can't setup cameras without phone, can't login to mobile app, been on hold waiting for support for a hour

i think my title says it all.
anytime i want to make a change to my setup its never easy, it takes hours if not the day.
it never works seamlessly.
simply for setup i regret going with simplisafe but now i have all this equipment.
