Outdoor camera kit

Call SS and they will do it over phone , that's what I did with mine in back garden

Is it just me or is the link https://simplisafe.com/alarm-sensors not directly accessible from the Website? I couldn't find it. Thanks for the link, jasonaward.

Doesn't work for me either. I just wasted a half hour on the Web site trying to buy a few additional sensors and the outdoor camers kit to no avail. All they want to sell is complete kits. Think they're missing out on some additional sales to existing customers.

That link works ( https://simplisafe.com/alarm-sensors ), it's been the same link they've had up for a very long time.

When you access the link, there's 2 photos of "The All New Simplisafe" (which is SS3), and "The Original" (which is SS2).

Click on the photo of the system you have, you'll be taken to the sensors for your system version.  The outdoor camera kit is on that page, it's right beside the product photo/info for the Indoor Camera.

Also, I think either their main page, or on the page with the system packages, at the bottom of one of those pages is a link to "Do you need extra sensors?"  Click that link or photo.

Just a side note, The Original (SS2) sensor page doesn't appear to show the outdoor kit. I see that only on the All New (SS3) sensor page.

^ I see that now.  But guess if this thread isn't buried into 6 years back soon enough, hopefully folks will know where to find it, lol.

1. Add a camera to the cart and make sure you check the box for the outdoor kit
2. Then adjust quantities and remove the camera you just added so you're only ordering the outdoor kit.

The cameras do not detect motion very well if placed outdoors. They are not designed for outdoor use! So why do they sell the outdoor kits?
