SS3 Two Base Stations Two Keypads

Is it possible to register a keypad (or two keypads) to two base stations?

I want to have one base station hidden, silent and monitored and a second base station active where I can hear the alerts.  I have two entrances and want a single keypad at each to activate/deactivate the system.

I'm pretty sure components can only be used with one base station.  Having two bases would cost you twice as much, as well as two monitoring costs (unless one base was not on a monitoring plan).  Although some people have bought two systems for various purposes, you'd really want to think about it, especially the added costs.

I don't know about SS3, but SS2 can have a component defined to 2 bases.  I have one base in my motorhome, unmonitored, and one in my house, monitored.  All the motorhome sensors are also  defined to the house base.  This way, when the motorhome is at home, it is monitored using the house plan, and when it is on the road, monitoring is not practical anyway (unless I'm staying somewhere for a long period of time)

Seven, thanks for that, I knew you had two systems, but didn't know you had them set up that way.  So my apologies if my answer was incorrect.  I would think if it's possible with SS2, it should be with SS3 - maybe bobthelightguy can confirm with SS.

I wasn't concerned about the sensors with two base stations, since people had already done that with SS2, but the keypads.  I already own a second base station, so I guess I'll have to try it out.  What could possibly go wrong (hah).

^ Can you post back after you've tested it that way?

Also, not sure how updating firmware would work with that setup (SS3) - all keypads have to be updated with firmware updates.

With my original system, I used 2 keypads.  No problem
