Your camera is having connectivity issues...

All five of my cameras just started talking.  They all say:

"Your camera is having connectivity issues..."

Now all of the cameras are flashing yellow and I can't get into the app.

Anyone else?

Me too - and my app was showing I didn't have monitoring or a system! Scared me. Reset password took forever. Called support and finally got an automated message that they are aware of a technical issue and they are working on it. I hope they fix it soon.

My cameras are no longer flashing yellow, but I still can't get back into the app.

Also having this issue. Seems like they have been having some widespread issues the last few days. I talked to a support person earlier today. I imagine they are working through troubleshooting some of the issues.

+1, I tried to fix it by removing the camera from my system but now I can't add it back.  Says no wifi found.

I seem to remember this happening a few weeks ago for a couple of hours.

This is getting ridiculous. Two outages in the past few weeks. This needs to be fixed fast.

Hi all,

Thanks for checking in. Our website did experience a brief outage last night, that impacted both the cameras and the app. Thankfully, Monitoring was not impacted. We were able to get full function back last night as well, so you should have full access to the app again today, and all of your cameras should have reconnected on their own.

We sincerely apologize. We know even one outage is unacceptable, let alone another one in such a short time! We're of course already working to prevent this from ever happening in the future.

How do I connect my video doorbell to my TP wifi range extender. Your instructions on the help site are extremely vague and incomplete.

Hi @zielkebr,

Once you've gotten your Wifi Extender setup with the included instructions you'll need to set the Video Doorbell Pro up again as you did originally. To do that hold the reset button (the larger of the two) on the back of the doorbell down for about 10 seconds. After about a minute the Video Doorbell Pro will reset back to factory settings and then prompt you to set it up through the SimpliSafe app. When setting it up through the app make sure to select the extender's Wifi network.
