SimpliSafe Security Risk

I have had SimpliSafe for over two years and have been very happy with the system.  However, I understand that it is easy to purchase a $2 device on Amazon that communicates on the same band and flood the base station so it doesn't pick up break ins, etc.  This is very concerning.  I have tried contacting SimpliSafe a few times but their Customer Support seems to have very long wait times.  I've listened to a lot of music and no human voice. Any way, am posting to the a Forum to see whether anyone else shares these concerns.

EVERY wireless system has this vulnerability.  As far as I know, this has never been done "for real", so I'm not going to worry about it.

@ anna.balakrishnan I tested this hack myself (bought the transmitter on Amazon) and an intruder would need to know exactly how to line up the transmitter between your sensor AND the base. Not easily done.  You can do a google search and read my complete report but just say my wife and I are sleeping soundly at night.

And in case you read about the Invisible Fence hack, that one is completely not true.
