Why does it cost money to update my time-zone?

Just got off the phone with your "support" team, the first attempt of which I had someone pick up and immediately hang up on me.

I'm told I need to pay a monthly monitoring fee just to update my time-zone so the app will stop reporting occurrences at the incorrect time.

I've one very SimpliBasic question.... Why?

Hello, 

Apologies, that is incorrect info. On the webapp, your Timezone is indeed set under the Monitoring tab on your online account.

However, the SimpliSafe app, and Push Notifications, should be using the timezone set from your phone's operating system.

Davey, 

I apologize as I hadn't realized your service had a web app version, I was so flustered with my phone experience yesterday, it blinded my logic. I went in was able to adjust my location accordingly.
