iOS Critical Alerts - Push notifications to bypass Do Not Disturb

iOS allows notifications to bypass Do Not Disturb mode if the application developers enable it. This would be incredibly useful feature so customers can benefit from Do Not Disturb but also be made aware of safety push notifications from SimpliSafe.

Ring has already implemented this and could be important to maintain a good product in comparison with Ring: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039406772-Getting-emergency-alerts-in-Do-Not-Disturb-mode

Hi jrmaher44,

That's an excellent suggestion. I will forward to our dev team.

Add the SS application to "Do Not Disturb" Allowed Notifications. Create a contact with the SS phone numbers and add it to Allowed Notifications.

Has this feature of critical alerts on the app been added yet? This would be a determining factor for me in purchasing this system.
