Smart Lock Notifications

I second this.

I would like to manually enable/disable alarm for specific sensors and situations.

I get 8-12 push notifications per day about the door locking, but I don't want to turn off the push notifications for the system arming/disarming.

I feel the same way.  Being on lock down and with the kids out of school.  I've got people going in and out of the house all day long.  I had 22 notifications in an hour.  

I would LOVE to ONLY get notified when I've set the alarm for either HOME or AWAY.  When the system is OFF, I don't need to be notified every time the front door opens.  

Please add this feature or option for users to control.

Just added smart lock today and have same issues. very annoying. Please decouple notifications of Arm/Disarm from Lock/unlock.

I also have this problem. I want to have notifications via secret alert for a single entry sensor being tripped (outdoor gate), but not the lock/unlock of smart lock on front door, and you can't have both right now it seems. For some reason having notifications on means you get all lock/unlock alerts, it's the only thing that is coupled in when you should optionally be able to turn this off.

I will add to the already building number of people annoyed by alerts over locks locking and unlocking!!  If i turn off event notifications then i lose being notified when the system is turned off and i do not want to lose that notification! That IS an EVENT.  Locking and unlocking a door is NOT an EVENT i  want to track.  I have three smart locks and it is driving me crazy.

I want to keep this alive, the constant door locking notifications are driving me nuts!

I agree. Just installed the lock but need to get rid of the notifications!

I would encourage everyone on this thread to send an email to SimpliSafe from their customer contact page.  They need to hear this many different ways from many different people.  This quirk is my only complaint about an otherwise stellar system.

Agreed, I just spent an hour going through the online portal and mobile app trying to find a way to turn this setting off.  It is extremely annoying and should have been a release feature, not something the dev team is going to have to fix.  Please tell me this is in the current sprint!  I'm working from home and battling Simplisafe notification overload because everyone else is home too.

Yes, please allow the smartlock notifications to be turned off when locking or unlocking. My wife and I like notifications but this is too much. Especially when you have kids coming and going.

Yes, please allow smart lock notifications to be controlled independently.  Also, it would be super nice to support a custom auto-lock timeout, in addition to the three fixed choices.
