3 phases required for full service

1). Purchase all required components.  Be prepared for a home walk through.  Windows, entry doors, garage doors, etc.
They quickly sent out the box of components and charge and invoice.
2)  Phase two is left to the buyer to contact the installation firm.  Pricing for this is still unknown.
I have been confused by having to do what I think should be coordinated by SimpliSafe.
3)  I am at phase 2 but assume I will have to turn on the monitoring of the system by the outside firm.
I am a senior citizen and preferred having it installed by a knowledgeable pro.
Did not expect the purchase would be this involved for me.  Will not be an issue for the technical people who do not order all features.

@brokermaryk.1813  I am a fellow senior citizen, and at least for me, I would (and did) delete #2.  Have a 40 + sensor system and it is pretty easy to install.  Okay, I am a bit of a techno type but have been most of my life. And yes, on 3, you do have to get your monitoring from Simplisafe. COPS, the company they contract with, is very, very good.

Best fo the holiday season to you and  your family.

Very disappointed so far.   And I'm very capable of installing myself.    I had original simple safe system 8 yrs back. No issues

Bought their new system.    NOT HAPPY.  Within 1 1/2 weeks one sensor stopped working.    Ok.  They sent out new sensor within 2 days.   WOW, new sensor arrives, and it's for older system.   I call, explain and first they tell me their own system down, and I'll have to call back later.  WTF.   OK.  CALLED back and now they will send out USPS, not fedX.   Why?   No answer.   This wasn't my fault

Ok.  I know I have 60 day test trial, but I'm pretty sure if this is how they are treating a customer that just bought a brand new system, I'll look elsewhere for a whole house system.  There are lot of DYI systems on market.   I got this cause my original experience with SimpliSafe was good.   But as they have grown, I can see they are not same company I use to love
