Add as a device on Alexa

Do you plan to add proper Alexa device integration so commands can be added to a routine?

I.e.  when I say Alexa go to bed - my lights and heating turn off, I want my home alarm to come on too.

Speaking only for me, the last thing I want is a security hole through the always-listening surveillance device of a mega-corporation.  OPSEC - Operational security - dictates that convenience and security systems should be completely separate systems  As separate as possible.

Because it is SO physically demanding to walk over and press a single button, or lay there and lift your phone and go through the app.

no, because if you do not pay for monitoring, you CANNOT use the app to do anything....including activating/deactivating the alarm, viewing your camera or doorbell cam. Being disabled also makes it difficult, as you say, "it is SO physically demanding to walk over and press a single button". Yes, in my case it is physically demanding!

I'm disabled too, so I pay for monitoring so I can set the alarm from bed with my phone.  I suppose that if I did not have monitoring, I'd move the keypad to where I could access it without having to go to it.  But then it is already closer to my bed than the toilet, and I can manage to get there  :-)
