Fading and weathering yard sign

I have a shield shaped yard sign that is fading and weathering.  The paint is simple to rub off.  I have ordered 4 additional signs, but its not clear what shaped signs they will be or if they will fit the sign posts that I have.  Can I get a replacement for the weathered sign?

Let me go ahead and tell you how to fix this. When you get your new signs go get some regular automotive clear coat in a can and spray a couple of coats on it, wait of course for dry time each coat but rhis will definitely work. Simplisafe went cheap as hell with the new signs so before you even put them out do a good 4 or 5 coats, trust me you will thank me later lol and good luck.

I can attest to Lance's tips - I did 3 coats (let dry between coats), and it worked.

Yes, you should be getting the shield-shaped signs - and rather than pay for a new one, SS will send you a new one, free, if you call and ask - they are aware their signs are falling apart.  (you might have to pay for any additional signs you want).

Honestly, I wonder why SimpliSafe offers signs with their name on them.  Every security advisement I've seen/read says to put up a generic sign and window decals.  You don't want a bad guy to know what BRAND of system you have...just that you have one.  They may be well-versed in, say a GE system, and be happy to take a risk on it.  Generic signs/decals can be ordered online fairly cheaply (try Amazon), and you won't be giving the bad guys a "heads-up" on your specific system.

@ddelora I used to use as signs but no longer as one of my customers was moving and have me there CPI SECURITY signs and stickers so as far as everyone knows I have CPI SECURITY. But to those who still wants to use the as signs this is the method to go.
