Window and door alerts

If you mean an entry sensor installed on a window, then it will chime when opened while in OFF mode just as if it were mounted on a door..

If you mean a glass break sensor, then no.

And the sensor does not chime, the base station (and perhaps the external siren) does.

I can verify that the external sensor does.  I have my system set up that way.

The base chimes when the sensor is opened, even if the system is "off". The sensor itself blinks an LED, once on opening and twice on closing.
